Foursquare checking-in hotspots at The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Tomorrow is the start of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. That means if you’re in London, you’ll probably notice the streets starting to fill with people looking for a weekend of fun and frolics from the moment you wake up. Get yourself out there and join in the fun. If you’re a Foursquare user and want to possibly earn that long-hailed swarm (or super swarm) badge, here’s five locations in London you might achieve that over the course of the weekend.
Before you set out on a checking-in frenzy, you’ll need a Foursquare app installed onto your Nokia phone. Use the Nokia Store to download Foursquare for Series 40, Foursquare for Symbian and Foursquare for MeeGo. Foursquare for Windows Phone can also be found at Windows Phone Marketplace if you’ve got a Nokia Lumia 610, Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia Lumia 800 or Nokia Lumia 900.

There are other Foursquare apps available, too. 4th and Mayor is a great alternative on your Nokia Lumia. As is 4squick for Symbian and MeeGo.

In order to obtain the Foursquare Swarm badge, you’ll need to check in with at least 50 people. And the Super Swarm badge, you must check-in with at least 250 people. So, if you’re really keen to get that badge, make sure you check in when the most amount of people will be around.

Our handy Nokia Maps guide to The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will help you know where to be and at what time.

Now, here are five locations we think will be full to capacity with people.

Trafalgar Square on Foursquare

Cadogan Pier on Foursquare

HMS President on Foursquare

Queen Victoria Memorial on Foursquare – for the Diamond Jubilee Concert

Buckingham Palace on Foursquare

Have a great time checking-in and don’t forget to let us know if you managed to collect any special Foursquare badges this weekend. I’ll be there in an attempt to go for the Super Swarm badge.
