Nikon launches 36.3 megapixel FX format SLR - Nikon D800

Today, Nikon announced a new digital SLR FX format 36.3 megapixel resolution - Nikon D800. The new Nikon D800 camera is set up, according to the manufacturer, with an eye on it to meet the future needs of the photos and video today. It uses many new technologies to achieve amazing depth and detail photographs, as well as making it possible to shoot broadcast quality video in the resolution of Full HD.

As noted in the company, Nikon D800 - this is the first representative of an entirely new class of cameras that can compete with medium format cameras, but having the flexibility inherent to digital SLR systems. It provides professional photographers who are interested in maximum detail, the ability to create monumental works.

Also for the first time in the industry along with the basic model produced a special modification of the D800 - Nikon D800E. The camera uses a modified D800E optical filter to achieve a unique level-definition pictures.

The matrix has a new 12-channel readout interface with 14-bit ADC and a high ratio of "signal-to-noise", allowing to obtain high quality images with low noise and wide dynamic range.

D800 maintains a record for digital SLR cameras, this resolution sensitivity range from ISO 100 to 6400, expandable to 25,600 equivalent toward the increase and the equivalent of 50 downward. Intelligent system for noise reduction removes noise without sacrificing detail, providing maximum flexibility for shooting in any lighting condition.
