MakTsentr company, which is a distributor of ONYX International, announced the withdrawal of Russian market of e-books ONYX BOOX A62 Hercule Poirot - a new model, a member of the "detective" series. According to the manufacturer, in contrast to other devices in this series, ONYX BOOX A62 Hercule Poirot is equipped with the latest screen E Ink Pearl HD, supports touch input, and Wi-Fi-module, which allows you to view Internet sites and download information from the Internet directly to the device.

New model replaces the ONYX BOOX A60, while keeping the screen of the last generation E Ink Pearl HD with 12:1 contrast ratio and a resolution of 768 by 1024 pixels. This model is the first in line with shield ONYX BOOX E Ink Pearl HD and the first 6-inch model with this type of screen having touch input (executed by technology WACOM).

Like other models, "Detective" series, ONYX BOOX A62 Hercule Poirot has a processor Freescale i.MX508, currently used in the reader, with a clock frequency of 800 MHz,  improved user interface (icons on the screen, a list of recently opened files and widget "Clock" ), 4 GB Flash-memory and a slot for memory cards up to 32GB.
