The mobile operator MTS announced that "MTS-Turkmenistan" (a 100-percent subsidiary of OJSC "MTS" in the country) from October 1, 2012 begin to contract for the sale of SIM-cards for all subscribers in Turkmenistan, and introduces new tariffs .
On October 1, the "MTS-Turkmenistan" starts new subscribers to mobile services in more than 170 dealer showrooms across the country, as well as offering customers new unified "MTS JUST", "Super 0" and a line of corporate tariff plans "Business ". All registered before 1 October in the network, are automatically converted to seven temporary tariffs on "MTS simply" no monthly fee with the possibility to choose the tariff.
August 30, 2012 the operator started to offer a full range of communications services - calls, SMS, GPRS-Internet, international calls and international voice roaming to all subscribers of "MTS-Turkmenistan" that are not terminated the contracts signed prior to the suspension of MTS in Turkmenistan.
In July 2012 OJSC "MTS" and the State Telecommunications Company "Turkmen" signed a contract on conditions of business entities "MTS-Turkmenistan" after the operator of all necessary licenses, technical and legal conditions for the resumption of activities in Turkmenistan.
