Barnes & Noble Company has introduced two new tablet - NOOK HD and NOOK HD +, which are claimed as the world's lightest HD-and Full HD-plates. NOOK HD model is equipped with a 7-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, and NOOK HD + - 9-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels. NOOK HD tablet built on a dual-core 1.3-GHz processor, Texas Instruments, equipped with 1 GB RAM, 8 or 16 GB of internal memory and a slot for microSD (up to 64GB cards).
