Opera’s Companion SDK, which turns a smartphone into a smart remote control, and side-by-side applications bring a great new web experience on TV. App developers get extra monetization options, new ways to interact with their content and developer-device registration, enabling debugging of their app on a retail device.

Opera Devices SDK with support for UVA

The latest Opera Devices SDK now brings new video options and improved performance. Support for OpenGL ES 2.0 for awesome performance on high-end platforms, HTML5 tag, and integration of a multi-protocol Adaptive Bitrate Streaming engine make the Opera Devices SDK the most powerful toolkit for TV browsing and TV app solutions today.
