MTS Scartel signed agreement to launch 4G in Kazan

The mobile operator MTS, LLC Scartel (Yota Networks) today announced an agreement to provide services of the fourth generation model of MTS MVNO (born MVNO, mobile virtual network operator) in the network of LLC "Scartel" in Kazan.

The network is scheduled for August 30, 2012. Data services over a 4G network will be available to subscribers of MTS using FDD-Network Ltd. "Scartel" radio frequency 2500-2530/2620-2650 MHz. Ltd. "Scartel" network will provide coverage of the fourth-generation 80% of the territory of Kazan, the network consists of 118 base stations and allows subscribers to access the Internet at speeds up to 100 Mbit / s.
