Sony’s first LTE-enabled device has landed at Rogers locations, but unfortunately cannot be sold yet. The Xperia ion, otherwise known by model number LT28i, have been delivered to stores earlier this week and should be available for sale in the coming days – potentially as early as the 18th or 19th of July. We previously let you know that Rogers will be the first carrier to release the ion, then others will follow. The prices will range from $49.99 on a 3-year to $549.99 outright and will be released with OS 2.3 Gingerbread, then be upgraded to OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich soon after.
More soon!
(Thanks tipsters!)
