Sony Mobile will move its headquarters from Lund to Tokyo.

Lund has been a strong seat for Ericsson, Sony Ericsson and now Sony Mobile's mobile development for a long time. Former CEO Bert Nordberg, who stepped off the record earlier this year to become a board member, had as its last mission to move  its headquarters from London to Lund , but now then it all moved to Tokyo.
- It's a pretty logical progression because the owner Sony headquarters in Japan. We have informed about this internally, but right now there is not much more evidence, said Bert Nordberg Sydsvenskan. How it affects the employees in Lund remains to be seen, but a sparkrav earlier this year announced that 10 000 posts in Sony alerts and  149 of them were services in Lund . The relocation of headquarters from London to Lund was otherwise as a way to secure the Swedish part of the development. - I tried as best I could, but one should remember that Sony still needs to telecom expertise in Lund, said Bert Nordberg. Is it a first step in moving the entire building from Sweden and Lund will remain for the development of mobile phones? Time will tell. The move itself will take place October 1 this year.
