Orange Launches ‘U24’ a Market Leading New Money-Saving Offer for Under 24’s

U24 will offer Orange customers an extra 1GB of free mobile internet plus unlimited UK calls and texts to anyone on Orange or T-Mobile
Available nationwide, the offer will be free for all new and existing pay as you go and pay monthly Orange customers under the age of 24
Offer supported by a new U24 app to help customers identify friends and family on Orange and T-Mobile so they know who they can call and text for free

Orange launched a market leading new offer designed specifically for the youth market. The new U24 (Under 24) offer has been developed to meet young people’s needs giving them extra calls, texts and mobile data on top of their current plan at no extra charge – helping them to save money without having to compromise on keeping in touch.
Perfect for social media networkers and students on a tight budget, U24 from Orange is available to all new and existing Orange pay as you go customers who top up by £15 or more a month, as well as pay monthly customers on plans of £15 or more a month, and who are under 24 years old. With U24, on top of their normal plan and benefits, customers receive free unlimited UK calls and texts to anyone on Orange and T-Mobile and an additional 1Gb of free mobile internet data per month allowing them to keep in touch without worrying about the cost. So whether it’s helping to keeping in touch with parents if they’re on Orange or T-Mobile, or keeping friends updated on the latest status via Facebook – U24 gives them a helping hand.
To support the new offer, Orange has also launched the U24 app. The app, available from Apple, Android and BlackBerry app stores, checks the customer’s address book and highlights those contacts that are with Orange and T-Mobile so that customers can easily see which of their friends and family they can talk to and text for free. Orange customers also benefit from access to T-Mobile’s signal too, meaning they can access their favourite social media sites such as Facebook, download apps, text and call from more places across the UK with the country’s biggest 3G network.

Eligible pay as you go and pay monthly customers just need to pop into their nearest Orange store with either their drivers licence, passport or PASS card ID, and U24 will be added to their account; alternatively pay monthly customers can also call Orange customer services. Once live, they will receive a text to confirm the U24 package has been added, which also contains a link to download the U24 app.
