The company "Doctor Web" reported on the distribution of the popular social network Twitter spam messages in Russian, containing a link to the provider, depending on your browser, or on the fraudulent site, or a resource from which you are downloading malicious programs for mobile devices. Attackers produce newsletter with compromised accounts using typical methods of social engineering: the message contains the user name, which is addressed to "tweet" as well as an intriguing phrase, and a link where those interested should move the victim.
If the link will open in a browser conventional computer, such as a Mac or PC, the user gets to one of the fraudulent resource participating in a common scheme for paid subscription content services. If the reference is used to open a mobile device such as a smartphone or a regular cell phone, it will load the site distributes malicious software and families Android.SmsSend Java.SMSSend, performing costly to send SMS-messages. Some people, most of whom do not speak Russian language, unwittingly contribute to the spread of such messages when trying to understand what you are talking about, and send "tweets" with the same content on their own behalf.
