RIM has lifted the veil of secrecy over the first mobile device based on its new BlackBerry operating system 10. As said company spokeswoman Rebecca Freiberger (Rebecca Freiburger), the first model based on the new platform will not get a hardware keyboard, which has long been a "hallmark" brand BlackBerry. That is, the device will be equipped with a touchscreen and a keyboard will be, respectively, on-screen. Apparently, the new design will be used, as shown on the BlackBerry World event in May.
According to the RIM, this model will hit the market later this year, but its characteristics and even the title information yet. Freiberger also reported that in the future in line of mobile devices running BlackBerry will include 10 models with a hardware keyboard, but when exactly this happens, it is not specified.
