NEC has announced two tablet-based operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Both of them were called LifeTouch L, only one of them is aimed at business users, and the other - on consumers. The consumer model of NEC LifeTouch L is available in two versions - with 16 and 32 GB of internal memory, while the business gets the tablet 16 GB of memory and data protection features. Production of consumer NEC LifeTouch L on July 5, and business case - a little later, at the end of next month.
Both devices are equipped with 10.1-inch touch-IPS-panel displays of 1280 x 800 pixels and built on a 1.5 GHz processor TI OMAP4460. In addition, supports Wi-Fi, and battery life of up to 13 hours of web surfing and up to 10 hours of video. The thickness of the plates is only 7.99 mm, weight - 540 grams.
