Apple announced iOS 6

Apple has officially announced iOS 6, which adds over 200 new features into the operating system for mobile devices, and also released a beta version of the program participants iOS Developer Program.

iOS 6 will be available for users of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch this fall as a free software update. New iOS 6 includes a brand new Maps application to cartography, developed by Apple, navigate turn by turn, and new types of Flyover; new features Siri, including support for more languages, easy access to information about the sporting events, recommendations for restaurants and movies at the box office, Facebook integration into applications, contacts and calendar with the ability to post status directly from the center of notification Notification Center by Siri and other applications with the integration of Facebook, such as photos, Safari and Maps; common photostream Shared Photo Stream through iCloud; and Also Passbook - an easy way to collect your badge in one place.

Additional new features in iOS 6:

improvements in Safari, the most popular mobile browser in the world, among them - the tab iCloud, offline mode for reading the list, upload photos and full-screen mode;
support FaceTime calls over cellular networks;
VIP can create a mailbox that facilitates quick view of important messages from people you appoint as the VIP-persons;
opportunity to refuse incoming calls with a quick posting, setting a reminder call back and enable the new option "Do Not Disturb";
a number of new enhancements and services specifically for users of iOS in China, including an improved text input and built-in support for popular Chinese services, including Baidu, Sina Weibo, Youku and Tudou.
The beta version of the software and SDK iOS six available right now members of the program iOS Developer Program at developer.apple.com . iOS 6 will be available as a free software update for users of iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, the new iPad, iPad 2 and iPod touch (fourth generation) in the autumn of this year. Some features may not be available on all products.
