The new zoom lens of Micro Four Thirds LUMIX GX VARIO 12-35 mm / F2.8 ASPH. / POWER OIS

Panasonic has introduced a new zoom lens LUMIX GX VARIO 12-35 mm / F2.8 ASPH. / POWER OIS (H-HS12035) (24-70 mm equivalent 35mm camera), designed for a family camera LUMIX G Micro System, compliant with Micro Four Thirds.

As the producer, this new lens offers a focal length range: 12-35 mm (24-70 mm equivalent 35mm camera) - F2.8 aperture at the same time maintained throughout the zoom range. Thanks to the beautiful blurred background and a high aperture ratio, the lens is perfect for shooting different subjects, from landscape to portrait.

At the front of the lens applied to the nano-coating is extremely low refractive index, it reduces the likelihood of glare over the entire range of visible light (380-780 nm), the solution allowed to achieve high image sharpness.

POWER OIS image stabilizer effectively compensates for not only the rapid movements of small amplitude, but the slow movements of large amplitude - taking pictures in low light conditions becomes much easier.

The lens comprises 14 lenses in 9 groups. Lens UED (Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion) minimizes chromatic aberration and lens UHR (Ultra High Reflective) guarantees the highest quality at the edges of the image. The new lens features high contrast and resolution across the frame throughout the zoom range. In addition, thanks to 4 aspherical lenses, the lens barrel has turned out compact: its length is approx. 73.8 mm, weight - approx. 305

Stepper motor allows for smooth and quiet operation of the system focus, and the seven aperture blades form a perfectly round hole. In addition, a metal lens mount is very strong, and the ring prevents water from getting inside the camera and dust.
