Smartphone Orange Santa Clara-based Intel Atom is almost ready for release

Smartphone Orange Santa Clara, apparently, will soon go on sale. This model, we recall, was announced back in February of this year and shown at the MWC 2012 in Barcelona. The device is interesting because it is built on a processor Intel Atom - 1,6-GHz single-core Z2460 (Platform Intel Medfield). Resource Android Central has published an invitation to the launch of the smartphone Santa Clara at the operator Orange in the UK, it will be held on May 31. In addition, the model is mentioned on the website, but there is no release date specified.

Smartphone Orange Santa Clara has some good features, though, by modern standards, this is not the flagship. The device is equipped with a 4-inch touchscreen display with WVGA, 8-megapixel camera, 16GB of internal memory and supports a network of HSPA +. Orange Santa Clara is running an operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but it will be a firmware update to Android 4.0 ICS.
