Samsung Galaxy S3 on sale in Dubai

I was walking through the mall about an hour ago when I noticed a SGS3 'Pre Order' window poster had a "Now Available" notice stuck to it. I thought they just meant you could sign up for the pre order.
I noticed another "Now Available" print out in the store. I walked in and took a picture of it to What's App to my friend in London as I know he REALLY wants it.
The guy at the counter saw me, called me over and casually passed me one he was playing with! I asked if it was for sale and he said that it was. I asked how many they had was told they had plenty in stock (I could see about 7 boxes right there on the counter).
The price was 2450AED (422GBP, 666USD, 680CAD) and they only had the white one available. This is significantly cheaper than the 499.99GBP (2902AED, 790USD, 805CAD) price on clove.co.uk
I had no idea they were available a whole week ahead of the official release!
I had a five minute play around with it, despite all the hate about the design and despite my initial hate for the design too, I have to say.... it's BEAUTIFUL. And that's with all the reviews/previews say the blue one is even nicer looking.
Also, please lay to rest any 'worries' about the pentile display.. The screen is simply stunning.
Had anyone else actually seen it for sale? I had no idea...
