The South Korean company LG Electronics announced that worldwide sales of its Android smartphone to support LTE networks topped three million copies. The bulk of this figure was achieved in North America, Japan and South Korea.
By the end of this year, LG Electronics plans to expand the presence of its LTE models Android smartphone from 10 to 20 countries.
Currently, the company issued the following models of smart phones to support LTE networks:
Revolution by LG: first LTE model from LG, released in May of last year
LG Optimus LTE: the most popular model, where the first million was sold for 100 days from the start of sales in October 2011
LG Optimus Vu: 5-inch display with an aspect ratio 4:3
LG Optimus LTE Tag: a model that supports the special NFC stickers - Tag +
LG Optimus LTE II: Last of the model with 2 GB of RAM
