Samsung launches microSD memory card with support for UHS-I specifically for LTE Devices

The South Korean company Samsung Electronics announced the start of mass production of high-speed microSD memory cards with support for UHS-I (Ultra High Speed), which, as the producer, the demand will be particularly mobile phones, smartphones and tablets with access to LTE networks.

The new UHS-I memory cards will be supplied with an internal capacity of 16 GB. These cards use 64-Gigabit DDR2 memory modules from Samsung, manufactured with 20-nm process technology and advanced controller of its own design for the UHS-I interface.

According to the company's tests, the new 16 GB memory cards reach a maximum speed of data entry - 80 MB / sec., More than four times higher than today's standard microSD card, for which it is equal to 21 MB / sec.
