JSC "VimpelCom" announced a change in the organizational structure of the unit "Russia" and create in it a block of business development. Head the newly created division of Andrew Melnikov. Prior to this Andrew was president and co-founder of "KIT Finance Insurance".

Directorate of Business Development will be located in Block's corporate strategy, which is headed by Vice-President of "VimpelCom" Martin Furuseth. The competence bloc - the development of corporate strategy unit "Russia" as part of an overall strategy of "VimpelCom Ltd", it is updated to reflect the current market situation and business analysis as well as the development and implementation of effective project management processes in the company.

Prior to the Directorate of Business Development under the leadership of Andrew Melnikov's will be the task for the practical implementation of the Company's strategy, the optimal alignment and effective models of business management in all its segments, the portfolio of strategic projects and venture capital assets, as well as interaction with the shareholders of joint ventures "VimpelCom" strategic partners and external consultants.
