Devices with flexible AMOLED-screen - before the end of the year?

Samsung has promised to begin mass production of flexible AMOLED-display later this year. On this edition of the Korean Asia Economy Park News president said Samsung Mobile Display (SMD). According to him, the commercial supply of the first batch of flexible displays start in the second or third quarter of this year, and the second - in the second quarter of 2013.

The first products based on these screens will be the tablets and smartphones, the president of SMD. It is worth mentioning that a little curved screens Samsung already produces: for example, a smartphone Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S applied to such a display - Contour Display. But in the long run, apparently, mobile devices with flexible screens can be minimized, for example, greater compactness. It is likely that the first such products will appear before the end of the year.
