MTS-Ukraine has begun the second phase of the transfer of its network to All-IP

The mobile operator "MTS Ukraine" announced the beginning of the second phase of the transfer of its CDMA base stations to a single IP-infrastructure (All-IP), without which, he argues, can not transfer to new generations of technology.

At the moment, "MTS Ukraine" transferred to the Ethernet Backhaul solution of about 70 base stations of CDMA, located in all regions of Ukraine. Thus, the operator has provided a unified multi-service structure of the All-IP for the network. And by the end of the second quarter of 2012 the number of CDMA-support stations with All-IP network in the MTS will be increased to 170.

Supports All-IP network provides ready to move to LTE technology, or HSPA +. In networks that support multiservice solution to All-IP, absolutely all data sent over IP-protocol. It provides higher throughput and network stability under load, allowing you to run resource-intensive services such as internet TV and video on demand. Among the other advantages of All-IP - reducing maintenance costs.

The plans include the introduction of the MTS All-IP solution based on existing technological resources in all the base stations of CDMA, located on the territory of Ukraine.
