"Rostelecom" and Yota signed an agreement on joint development and use of the network 4G

The National Telecommunications Company "Rostelecom" and Yota signed an agreement on joint development and use of wireless communication of the fourth generation. Signatures to the Agreement set by the President of OJSC "Rostelecom" Alexander Provotorov and director Denis Sverdlov, Yota. As the text of the Agreement, it has been signed for the early expansion and development in the Russian Federation advanced communications technologies, in particular, the most modern communication standard 4G - LTE, more efficient use of the telecommunications infrastructure of both companies and expand the availability of advanced telecommunications services for the residents of Russia. As part of the Agreement provides Yota "Rostelecom" the right to use its wireless channels and networks to provide customers with communications services with the use of MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator - a virtual mobile operator communication), as well as make use of existing Yota site for telecommunications equipment and wired communication channels to these sites. "Rostelecom", in turn, provides the right to use Yota wired communication links to telecommunications equipment sites, canals connection to the Internet backbone links between cities that are available in "Rostelecom" platforms for telecommunications equipment and its data center. According to the President of OJSC "Rostelecom" Alexander Provotorova "joint development and use of infrastructure will enable companies to significantly reduce construction time network 4G, while lower capital costs, and significantly reduce operating costs. All this will make it possible not only in the shortest possible time to start providing services networks 4G, but also increase the number of people in Russia who will be able to use them. "
