Sold 20 million Samsung Galaxy S III in 100 days

Samsung Electronics has announced that sales of its new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S III in the world reached 20 million units. The flagship of the latest generation of Samsung already sold in 100 days, which means that on average each day expenses 200 000 such devices, that is, Samsung Galaxy S III has become the fastest-selling off smartphone in South Korea's history.

For comparison, to achieve the target of 20 million, the previous flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S II took 10 months, and the Galaxy S - 17 months. The company also noted that Europe had sold 6 million Samsung Galaxy S III, in Asia - 4.5 million in North America - 4 million in South Korea - 2.5 million.
