MediaPad 10 FHD and Ascend D1 quad XL capabilities showcased
Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, highlighted the impressive capabilities of Huawei’s quad-core K3V2 1.4GHz processor with a 3D outdoor projection event at Singapore’s Suntec City - Fountain of Wealth. Technology enthusiasts looked on as a mobile game was projected onto a 950m² screen, powered by Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD and Huawei Ascend D1 quad XL. Global audiences can now experience the power for themselves by watching the video of this event on the Huawei Device YouTube channel.
“Huawei Device aims to open the door to a world of opportunities and experiences, and the event at Suntec City was no exception,” said David Wan, Head of Digital Marketing, Huawei Device. “An event of this scale requires outstanding power and speed, and the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD and Ascend D1 quad XL, both running on Huawei’s quad-core processor, were the perfect products for the task.”
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD and the Ascend D1 quad XL are the first products featuring Huawei’s own K3V2 quad-core Cortex-A9 1.4GHz CPU, the first quad-core mobile chipset designed, developed, and owned by a Chinese company. With its 64 bit bandwidth, the quad-core chip is fast, powerful, and energy-efficient.
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD, first launched at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona, Spain, has a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 high definition IPS display and 16:10 golden ratio to provide optimal viewing for gaming and high definition video. The Huawei Ascend D1 quad XL, also launched at MWC 2012, features a high-definition 4.5-inch, 1280 x 720 Toshiba screen to provide a crystal clear mobile cinematic experience like no other. Its ultra-powerful 2600mAh battery, provides an impressive 15 hours of talk time as well as 500 hours of standby time to keep you connected 30 percent longer than the industry average. The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD and Huawei Ascend D1 quad XL are currently available in China, with other markets to follow.
