EE confirms Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S3, and exclusive titanium grey edition

EE, formerly Everything Everywhere, has confirmed that the Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III is definitely on its way and imminent. Indeed, it lists the LTE version of the device as having Android 4.1 Jelly Bean straight from the box.

In a press pack given to Pocket-lint, EE lists several of the new 4G devices that will be ranged by the network when it launches its high-speed data service fully in the UK. One of those is the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE.

The pack claims it comes with "Android OS 4.1 Jellybean", so Samsung must be planning to launch the latest update very soon.

In addition, EE will be getting an exclusive titanium grey edition of the Android smartphone, it seems.

There have been many rumours of a forthcoming Jelly Bean update for the SGS3 flying around of late, mainly thanks to a near-final build of the firmware being leaked accidentally. We fully expect to hear more on this in the next few days.
